The Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Brandon Spaulding has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Skidmore College in the NEHC.
Spaulding, 20, is playing his 1st and final season in the NAHL. The Massachusetts native started his NAHL career with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings, playing 38 games, before moving to their East Division rivals, the Northeast Generals to finish out the season.
During his time in New Hampshire, Spaulding netted 8 goals and tallied 9 assists, two of those goals being the deciding factor for the Mountain Kings. Since joining the Generals, Spaulding has netted 4 goals and tallied 4 assists, one of those goals coming on the power play.
With the Robertson Cup Playoffs beginning this weekend, Spaulding and the Generals will travel to New York to take on the Rochester Americans for a best of three series.
Spaulding is the 10th player to commit for the Generals this season and will join 6 NAHL alumni at Skidmore in the fall.
