Fairbanks forward Rohrer makes NCAA DI commitment
The Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Kyle Rohrer has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Lindenwood University.
Rohrer, 18, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL with the Ice Dogs. The 6’0/175 lbs native of Oregon, WI, has appeared in 23 games so far during the 2023-24 season and recorded 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists).
“I am excited and honored to announce my commitment to play Division 1 college hockey at Lindenwood University. Thank you to all my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have helped me along the way,” said Rohrer.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Rohrer played youth hockey for Team Wisconsin and Oregon High.
He is the third member of the 2023-24 Ice Dogs team that has an NCAA Division I commitment.
