Former Kenai River Brown Bears forward Lucas Wahlin was named the CCHA Forward of the Week.

Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week: Griffin Loughran, F, Canisius College (Corpus Christi IceRays) - Canisius forward Griffin Loughran tallied two goals and four assists during the Golden Griffins’ Atlantic Hockey-opening series against Holy Cross last weekend. The West Seneca, N.Y., native matched his career high in points in both games, recording three points in each contest against the Crusaders. He tallied two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in the Griffs’ 5-3 win in the series opener. On Saturday, he scored third and fourth goals of the game and added a primary assist on the insurance marker in the final minute for a career-high three assists in the contest. This is his first career Atlantic Hockey weekly honor.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Lucas Wahlin, St. Thomas (Kenai River Brown Bears) - Wahlin led the Tommies to a weekend sweep of Northern Michigan, recording four points on three goals and an assist. He netted a pair of goals, including a shorthanded, game-winning tally on Friday to help St. Thomas to a 4-2 victory. He then collected a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win on Saturday night. For the week, he was a +3 with seven shots on goal and one block at the defensive end of the ice.

ECAC Forward of the Week: Gabriel Seger, Cornell (Amarillo Bulls) - Gabriel Seger (Sr., Cornell) secures the prestigious Forward of the Week title, presented by Bluebird by Lark Hotels, for the second consecutive week, underlining his exceptional contributions. In their inaugural weekend of league play, the Big Red clinched two significant victories. In Friday's commanding 3-1 triumph against Yale, Seger marked his first goal of the weekend, setting the tone. The following day, he delivered a remarkable three-point performance during the 7-1 victory against Brown. The senior forward played a pivotal role by netting two goals, including the game-winner, and adding an assist in the high-scoring contest. Seger's stats for the weekend included four shots on goal, and he maintained an impressive plus-minus rating of four.

ECAC Goalie of the Week: Ian Shane, Cornell (Bismarck Bobcats) - Ian Shane (Jr., Cornell) is recognized as the MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week for the second consecutive week, thanks to his exemplary performance that extended his unbeaten streak to 4-0-0 following the Big Red's weekend sweep. The junior netminder demonstrated his skill by allowing only two goals and making a total of 34 crucial saves during his weekend appearances, which culminated in two victories against Yale and Brown, with scores of 3-1 and 7-1, respectively. Shane concluded the weekend with an impressive 1.00 goals-against average and a remarkable .944 save percentage.

NCHC Forward of the Week: Joey Molenaar, St. Cloud State (Aberdeen Wings) - Molenaar had a career weekend to lead St. Cloud State to a sweep of Miami on the opening weekend of conference play. He compiled four points, including his first collegiate hat trick, while handing out an assist. In Friday’s 3-2 win, he set up the game’s opening goal early in the first period. The next night, Molenaar erupted for his first hat trick, which was also his first career multi-goal game, book-ending the scoring and tallying SCSU’s fourth goal in a 6-0 win. His first goal was the game-winner and came unassisted off a steal midway through the second period. Molenaar finished his four-point weekend with a +3 plus/minus, while firing seven shots on goal. His five goals on the season already tie his single-season career best and tie for the team lead. His six points in eight games tie for third on the Huskies and are only two shy of tying his career high for a season.
