Tomahawks come from behind to complete sweep of Generals

Johnstown 4 @ Northeast 3 - The Johnstown Tomahawks emerged victorious with a 4-3 win on Sunday over the Northeast Generals on Sunday evening, securing a weekend sweep.
In the initial period, the Northeast Generals took charge, being the sole team to score, securing a 2-0 lead over the Tomahawks after the first period of play thanks to goals from Brendan Kimball and Jake Gutwirth.
As both teams took to the ice for the second period, they were both eager to secure two crucial points. Chase Sandhu managed to break the ice for the Tomahawks, scoring his third goal of the season with an assist from Tomas Vleck. Nevertheless, the Generals quickly responded by scoring another goal, this time from Frank D’Ancona, extending their lead to 3-1. Zach Aben then narrowed the deficit by netting a goal, bringing the score to 3-2 in favor of the Generals.
As the final crucial period commenced, the Tomahawks acted swiftly. Merely :10 seconds into the third period, Will Moore capitalized on a power-play opportunity, leveling the game at 3 with assists from Justin Gibson and Zach Aben. Then, with nine minutes remaining in regulation, Moore struck again, propelling the Tomahawks into the lead at 4-3.
Tomhawks Goaltender Jacob Osborne made 34 saves in the win, while Toby Hopp made 30 saves in the loss.
