Chippewa defenseman Gnos makes NCAA commitment
The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Parker Gnos has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Saint John’s University.
Gnos, 20, just completed his second and final season playing for the Steel in the NAHL. The 6’2/194 lbs. native of Edina, MN, recorded 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in 49 games played during the 2022-23 season.
Gnos was selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Midwest Division team.
During his rookie season in 2021-22, Gnos recorded 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) in 60 games played.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Gnos played high school hockey in Minnesota for Totino-Grace High and also played a season in the NAPHL for the Minnesota Magicians 18U team during the 2018-19 season.
