Maine forward Coupe makes NCAA commitment

The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Aidan Coupe has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Salve Regina University.

Coupe, 21, just completed his first season playing in the NAHL and third season of junior hockey overall. The 5’11/165 lbs. native of Gilbert, AZ, appeared in 55 games during the 2022-23 regular season and recorded 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists). He also recorded six points in seven Robertson Cup Playoff games.

Coupe was named the NAHL’s East Division Star of the Week twice during the 2022-23 season on December 26-January 1 and again from February 6-12.

Prior to playing junior hockey, he spent two seasons playing in the NAPHL for the Arizona Bobcats and also spent two seasons with the Elite Hockey Academy.
