Fairbanks forward Dvorak makes NCAA commitment
The Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward McCabe Dvorak has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Dvorak, 21, just completed his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NAHL for the Ice Dogs. The 6’1/205 lbs. native of St. Louis Park, MN, appeared in 59 games during the 2022-23 regular season and recorded 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists).
He was also selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament where he played in two games for Team Midwest.
During the 2021-22 season, Dvorak played in 55 games for the Ice Dogs and recorded 24 points (5 goals, 19 assists).
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Dvorak played four seasons of high school hockey in Minnesota for St. Louis Park High. He also played two seasons in the NAPHL Fall League for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs 18U team in 2020-21 and Minnesota Magicians 18U team in 2019-20.
