New Mexico goalie Craig makes NCAA DI commitment
The New Mexico Ice Wolves, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that goaltender Will Craig has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the University of Nebraska-Omaha in the NCHC.
Craig, 20, just completed his first season playing in the NAHL and third season of junior hockey overall. The 6’2/200 lbs. native of Peterborough, ON, posted a 15-10-0 record in 28 games played during the 2022-23 regular season.
Craig had one shutout and a 2.70 goals against average and a .906 save percentage, making 675 saves on 745 shots during the season.
“I’m very proud to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Nebraska Omaha. I would like to say thank you to all my teammates, coaches, friends, and family for all their support to get me to this point in my career!” said Craig on social media.
