Aberdeen forward Ronn makes NCAA DI commitment
The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Jordan Ronn has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division I Hockey for Minnesota State University in the CCHA.
Ronn, 17, made his NAHL debut with the Wings on March 24, 2023. The 5’10/174 lbs. native of Champlin Park, MN appeared in eight regular season games for the Wings and recorded 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists).
He also scored the lone goal for the Wings in their playoff series against the St. Cloud Norsemen.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Ronn completed his third season as captain with Champlin Park High School, where he finished with 23 goals and 44 assists in 27 games played.
“Jordan is a first-class young man that has brought energy and work ethic to our team. I couldn’t be happier for him achieving a big goal of his to play at Minnesota State. Mavericks got a a good one,” said Wings Head Coach & GM Scott Langer.
"I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to play Division I hockey and further my education at Minnesota State Mankato. I’d like to thank my family, friends, coaches, teammates and everyone who has helped me along the way,” said Ronn.
