Bulls part ways with Sanden

Todd Sanden coached in North Iowa for the past 12 seasons, which included two seasons in the NAHL and 10 seasons in the NA3HL.

The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) have announced that they have mutually agreed to part ways with Head Coach/GM Todd Sanden.

Sanden has served as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Bulls for the past 12 years, leading the organization to four National Championships and numerous successes on the ice and in the Mason City community.

"Not many junior hockey coaches are blessed to spend 12 years in the same community. For that, I'd like to thank my wife Teresa and my family, the many players and their families who have supported our goals and process in their development, the many local families who have opened their homes as billets for our players, all of our volunteers who make North Iowa a great junior hockey destination, and the city of Mason City along with Mason City Youth Hockey for embracing junior teams. The success and support I've enjoyed here will be hard to duplicate elsewhere. Thank you North Iowa and Mason City," said Sanden.

The team is thankful for Sanden's contributions and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.

The Bulls organization will begin a search for a new head coach immediately.
