Wisconsin forward Levandowski makes NCAA DI commitment
The Wisconsin Windigo of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Luke Levandowski has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Lake Superior State University in the CCHA.
Levandowski, 20, is currently in his final season of playing junior hockey and first season in the NAHL with the Windigo. The 6’0/170 lbs. native of Rosemount, MN, is currently 3rd in team scoring so far during the 2022-23 season with 40 points (22 goals, 18 assists) in 37 games played.
Levandowski joined the Windigo in late October after beginning the season in the USHL with the Youngstown Phantoms. He was named the Midwest Division Star of the Week for January 16-22 where he put up five goals and was a +5 in three wins during the week.
Levandowski was also selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for Team Midwest.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Levandowski spent one season in the USHL and prior to that, played high school hockey in Minnesota for three years for Rosemount High.
