Mesic leads Bulls past Norsemen on Sunday, 3-1

Jack Mesic had a goal and two assists in a 3-1 win on Sunday.
North Iowa 3 @ St. Cloud 1 – The Bulls got a goal and two assists from defenseman Jack Mesic as they picked up a 3-1 win in their rubber match game of a three-game set against the Norsemen.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Bulls took control in the 2nd period as Logan Dombrowsky scored his 12th goal of the season, with assists to Mesic and Jacob Toll. Just over six minutes later, Eli Miller would scored his 10th goal of the season with Mesic and Toll assisting again.
Early in the 3rd period, the Norsemen cut the lead down to 2-1 as Andrew Clarke scored his 16th goal of the season, which was a power play goal assisted by Broten Sabo and Blake Perbox. That would be it for the Norsemen as Mesic would add an empty-net goal to secure the 3-1 final.
Bulls goalie Mitch Day made 33 saves in the win, while Tomas Bolo made 17 saves in the loss. With the win, the Bulls moved into sole possession of the 4th and final playoff spot in the Central Division.
