The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Sean Matthews has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Matthews, 20, is currently in his second season playing in the NAHL and second season overall of playing junior hockey. The 6’2/201 lbs. native of Chicago, IL, has appeared in 28 games thus far during the 2022-23 season and recorded 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists).

“I am thrilled to announce my commitment to the Milwaukee School of Engineering,” said Matthews. “I want to thank my friends, family, coaches, and teammates for helping me get to this decision and the next step of my hockey life.”

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Matthews spent his youth hockey playing for the Chicago Mission of the HPHL. He also played for the El Paso Rhinos of the NA3HL and NAHL during the 2021-22 season.
