The St. Louis Bandits have announced that second-year forward Ben Warda has committed to Michigan State University of the CCHA.
“We couldn’t be happier for Ben,” said Bandits coach-GM Jon Cooper. “He’s worked very hard for this opportunity and will be a tremendous asset to the Spartans program.”
Warda, from Lake Orion, Mich., ranks sixth in league scoring this season with 22 goals for 63 points after 48 games. The 20-year-old who participated in this month's Top Prospects Tournament is also a plus-25.
