Janesville defenseman Kring makes NCAA commitment

Janesville defenseman Spencer Kring played in the 2021 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
The Janesville Jets of the North Amercian Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Spencer Kring has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University in the MIAC.
Kring, 20, is in his third and final season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’2/185 lbs. native of Hobart, WI, has been remarkably consistent in all three seasons, the last two of which have been spent in a Jets uniform.
So far during the 2021-22 season, Kring has recorded 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists) in 51 games played.
Kring began his NAHL career with the WBS Knights during the 2019-20 season. During that rookie season he recorded 16 points in 50 games played.
The next season with the Jets, Kring appeared in 38 regular season games and recorded 12 points. He was also selected to and played in the 2021 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Blaine, MN.
Overall in 139 career NAHL regular season games, Kring has recorded 41 points.
