Wichita Falls defenseman Baumgartner makes NCAA DI commitment

Wichita Falls defenseman Owen Baumgartner played in both the 2020 and 2021 NAHL Top Prospects Tournaments.
The Wichita Falls Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Owen Baumgartner has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Air Force Academy in Atlantic Hockey.
Baumgartner, 19, is in his third season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 5’10/170 lbs. native of Owatonna, MN, has recorded 34 points (10 goals, 24 assists) in 48 games played to date so far during the 2021-22 regular season.

Baumgartner made his NAHL debut during the 2019-20 season with the Minot Minotauros. During his rookie campaign, he had 18 points in 27 games played.
During the 2020-21 season, he played 35 games between Minot and Wichita Falls and had 20 points.
He was also selected to and played in the 2020 and 2021 NAHL Top Prospects Tournaments.
Overall in 110 career NAHL regular season games, Baumgartner has recorded 72 points.
