Titans win the East thanks to eighth straight win

Brandon Milberg posted his 5th shutout of the season to help Wichita Falls to a 3-0 shutout over Shreveport on Wednesday.
Danbury 1 @ New Jersey 4 – Michael Young and Ryan Coughlin each had a goal and an assist to lead the New Jersey Titans to a 4-1 win over the visiting Jr. Hat Tricks. The win also clinched the East Division Regular Season title for the Titans. New Jersey had all the firepower they needed in the 1st period as goals from Young and Brendan Dumas put the Titans ahead 2-0. Early in the 3rd period, the Titans went up 3-0 on a goal from Coughlin. Danbury cut the lead to 3-1 later in the period with their lone goal of the game from Matthew Danziger. David Posma would add an empty-net goal to secure the win. Andrew Takacs made 24 saves in the win, while Marino Ramirez made 34 saves in the loss.
Shreveport 0 @ Wichita Falls 3 – Thanks to a 28-save shutout from goalie Brandon Milberg, the Wichita Falls Warriors cooled down the red-hot Shreveport Mudbugs on Wednesday by a score of 3-0. After a scoreless 1st period, the Warriors took control in the 2nd period with two goals from William Lawson-Body and Philip Tornqvist. In the 3rd period, Drew Vieten would add a power play goal to complete the scoring and shutout win. Mudbugs goalie Devon Bobak lost his first game in the month of March, making 27 saves in the loss.
