Wichita Falls defenseman Couet makes NCAA commitment

The Wichita Falls Warriors of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that defenseman Brennan Couet has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University.
Couet, 20, is in his fourth and final season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 5’10/190 lbs. native of St. Michael, MN, has recorded seven points in 42 games played thus far during the 2020-21 season with the Warriors, also serving as assistant captain.
Over the course of the past four seasons, Couet has appeared in 172 career NAHL games and recorded 34 points.
After playing youth hockey for the Omaha AAA Hockey Club, which included some games in the NAPHL, Couet made is NAHL debut with the Minnesota Wilderness during the 2017-18 season, appearing in 43 games and recording eight points.
The next two seasons were spent with the Minot Minotauros, where he played in 87 games and recorded 19 points.
He is the 10th member of the 2020-21 Warriors roster who is committed to play NCAA hockey.
