Bismarck defenseman Olsen makes NCAA commitment

Jack Olsen played in the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
The Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Jack Olsen has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Saint John’s University.
Olsen, 20, just completed his second and final season playing in the NAHL, all of which was spent with the Bobcats. The 5’11/185 lbs. native of Lakeville, Minnesota, posted a career-high 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) in 51 games played during the 2019-20 season.
Olsen scored the first goal of his NAHL career on December 7th in a road game in Minot. He was also selected to and played in the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team, where he had one point in two games.
Olsen made his NAHL debut during the 2017-18 season with the Bobcats, appearing in five games. During the 2018-19 season, he played in 58 games and had 11 points. Overall in 116 career NAHL games, Olsen put up 25 points.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Olsen played high school hockey in Minnesota for Lakeville South.
