Lone Star forward Roofe makes NCAA commitment

The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Noah Roofe has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Roofe, 21, just completed his third and final season playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 5’10/176 lbs. native of O’Fallon, Missouri, had his career-best season during the 2019-20 campaign, recording 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) in 51 games played, while also serving as the Brahmas captain this season.
Roofe made his NAHL debut during the 2017-18 season with the Corpus Christi IceRays, appearing in 43 games his rookie season.
After 10 games with the IceRays in 2018-19, Roofe was traded to Lone Star, where he would spend the remainder of his junior career.
In 147 career NAHL games, Roofe recorded 44 points.
UW-River Falls, which is located 30 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, plays in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and are 19-time WIAC Champions. The three-time NCAA National Champions play their home games out of the brand new 65-million dollar W.H. Hunt Arena, located directly on campus.
