Knights defenseman Cervone makes NCAA commitment

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are excited to announce that defenseman Cam Cervone has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for SUNY-Geneseo.
The 6'0/190 lbs. native of Rochester Hills, Michigan, finished this past NAHL season with three assists in 31 games played after joining the Knights midway through the year from the Springfield Jr. Blues. Cervone, 21, previously played with Corpus Christi and Topeka during the 2018-19 season.
Overall in 82 career NAHL games, Cervone has recorded 14 points.
“We are very happy for Cam committing to SUNY Geneseo. Cam joined our organization in November and immediately made an impact both on the ice and in the locker room,” said Knights Head Coach/GM Tom Kowal. “Cam's approach to the game, both on and off the ice will make him a great addition to SUNY Geneseo's program and university. We wish him the best of luck in the next step of his hockey journey."
SUNY-Geneseo is located in Geneseo, New York. The Knights play at the Division III level and are a part of the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
