The Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Lewis Crosby has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of St. Thomas.
Crosby, 20, just completed his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 5’10/185 lbs. native of Edina, Minnesota, began the 2019-20 season playing for the Jamestown Rebels. In October, Crosby was traded to the Minnesota Wilderness. While with the Wilderness, Crosby had 20 points (11 goals, 9 assists) in 46 games played.
During his two-year NAHL career with the Wilderness and Rebels, Crosby appeared in 77 career games and recorded 33 points.
“I’m excited to watch Lewis continue his education and hockey journey with the University of St. Thomas. He will bring an electric personality to the program and offensive presences. His commitment to our team concept of excellence and his determination is a testament to his character. He has been an essential part of our hockey family and we look forward to watching his contained success,” said Wilderness head coach Jon Vaillancourt.
