Kingkade's big night helps Minot close gap in Central

Maine forward Trent Grimshaw had a hat-trick in a 4-0 win on Wednesday.
Minot 6 @ Bismarck 3 - The Minot Minotauros doubled up their rival, the Bismarck Bobcats 6-3 on Wednesday. Andranik Armstrong-Kingkade earned first star honors as he collected the hat trick for Minot. Sam Skinner, Isak Darlin, and Brennan Couet all found the back of the net for the Minotauros. Ben Garrity won his fourth consecutive start by turning aside 26 Bismarck shots. Austin Jouppi had a big night for the Bobcats, offensively. The veteran forward scored a pair of goals and also added an assist. Adam Stacho picked up his second goal of the season in the loss. Andrew Miller and Ryan Ullan teamed up to make 20 saves for Bismarck.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 0 @ Maine 4 - Avery Sturtz stopped all 38 shots fired in his direction to pick up his first North American Hockey League shutout as the Maine Nordiques blanked the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights by a score of 4-0. Trent Grimshaw led the offense for Maine as he netted a hat trick. Cannon Green had the other goal for the Nordiques. Timmy Kent, Kylar Fenton, Kevin Pitts and Stefan Owens all got on the scoresheet with assists. Alex Contey made 39 saves in the loss for the Knights.
Shreveport 1 @ Lone Star 3 - The Lone Star Brahmas won their sixth straight game as they took down the Shreveport Mudbugs 3-1 on Wednesday night. Dylan Smith scored the game’s first goal for the Brahmas, it was his first goal in the NAHL. Janis Vizbelis tied the game for the Mudbugs with a shorthanded tally early in the third. Thomas Daskas found the back of the net on the power play for Lone Star with just under six minutes remaining in regulation. Matt Guerra added an empty net goal in the closing seconds. Ludvig Persson stopped 27 out of 28 shots to win his 13th game of the season. Maiszon Balboa allowed just two goals on 23 shots for Shreveport.
Austin 2 @ MN Wilderness 4 - The Minnesota Wilderness scored a Thanksgiving eve victory over in-state rival Austin by a score of 4-2. Nate Horn potted a pair of goals for the Wilderness. Garrett Worth and Jacob Herter also lit the lamp for Minnesota. Kaleb Johnson was superb as he made 30 saves en route to his seventh win of the year. Dante Sheriff netted both goals for Austin in the loss, giving the veteran forward four goals on the season. Brett Miller stopped 32 shots in the loss for the Bruins.
