Chippewa forward Reichenbacher makes NCAA commitment

The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Grant Reichenbacher has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Aubsburg College in the MIAC.
Reinchenbacher, a 20-year-old native of Madison, Wisconsin played in all 60 regular season games this past season with the Steel. In those games he recorded 26 points with 8 goals and 18 assists.
Last season, Reinchenbacher (5’11/165) played in 19 games for the Coulee Region Chill in the NAHL. Overall in 79 career NAHL games, he has recorded 31 points.
“I’m super excited to start my college career at such a great university. I am extremely thankful for Coach Foguth, Coach Stepan and the entire Chippewa Steel organization for helping me reach my dream of playing college hockey,” said Reichenbacher.
“Grant did a great job this season being a leader and a role model on and off the ice for our organization. He worked hard and is very deserving of his commitment. We’re very excited for the opportunity he has to play college hockey and further his education,” said Steel Head Coach Carter Foguth.
