Magicians forward Lee makes NCAA DI commitment

The Minnesota Magicians, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Jarrett Lee has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Northern Michigan University in the WCHA.
Lee, 18, is a native of Hibbing, Minnesota. This season, he made the jump to play with the Magicians in the NAHL and currently leads this the team in points with 30, which includes 11 goals and 19 assists.
Last year as a junior at Hibbing High School, Lee (5’10/160) tallied 48 points (21 goals 27 assists), which lead the team. He also played in 10 games with the Magicians in the NAHL and had two goals.
“Jarrett is a player who has taken some big steps to elevate his game this season and has a ton of potential to become a great college player. He is a kid who brings a great mentality to the rink every day and Northern Michigan is getting a great student-athlete to join their team,” said Magicians head coach Ben Weiand.
Lee is the 7th player from the Magicians roster in 2017-18 who has secured an NCAA Division I commitment.
