Sunday Wrap-Up: Rebels stay perfect with sweep of Tomahawks

Philadelphia 5 @ Johnstown 1 - Brandon Stanley’s two goals led the Philadelphia Rebels to a 5-1 win over the Johnstown Tomahawks. The Rebels improve to 10-0 on the season and remain the last undefeated team in the NAHL. Eric Olson, Carter Woolley and Hugh Quinn also scored for Philadelphia in the win. Ryan Keane grabbed his second win of the weekend in net, he stopped 22 of 23 shots. For the Tomahawks, Alex Singley scored the only goal, his first of the season. Britt League stopped nine shots in the loss.
Northeast 6 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 5 (OT) - Matt Demelis’ game winning goal at 2:03 of overtime helped the Generals secure a 6-5 come from behind victory over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. Louis Boudon finished with a hat trick including the game tying goal that he scored with just 12 seconds remaining in regulation. Colin Bilek scored his eighth goal of the year and added two assists for the Generals. Hunter Canestra also scored in the win. Marko Sturma stayed perfect, improving his record to 7-0. He made 40 saves on 45 shots. Michael Morrissey scored twice for the Knights while Adrian Danchenko and Thomas Farrell each scored a goal and added an assist. Curtis Carlson also notched a goal for the Knights and Reed Robinson finished the day with four assists. David Tomeo made 23 saves but it Christian Stoever was stuck with the loss, stopping six of the eight shots he faced.
