Springfield goalie Nappier makes NCAA DI commitment

The Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL are proud to announce goalie Tommy Nappier has made an NCAA Division I commitment to Ohio State University. Ohio State are member of the Big 10 hockey conference.
Nappier, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is in his first season with the Jr Blues. In the 13 games he’s appeared for the Jr Blues this season, Nappier has a record of 7-4-2 with a 2.36 goals against average and a 92.3% save percentage
Nappier, 17, was named the Midwest Division Player of the Week ending on October 11th and was an Honorable Mention for the NAHL Goalie of the Month in October. More recently, Nappier was named to the NHL Central Scouting Players to watch list in November along with teammate Erich Fear.
Nappier (6’3/195) played last season for the St. Louis Jr. Blues 18U midget major team in the Tier I Elite League.
"I am very proud of Tommy. He got off to a great start and has been a key piece to our early season success. I know he will be able to continue his strong play for the Buckeyes,” said Jr. Blues head coach Tony Zasowski.
Nappier is the 4th Jr. Blue to make a NCAA Division I commitment this season joining Sam Craggs, Bowling Green; Teddy Rotenberger, Alabama-Huntsville; and Mike Houle, Bowling Green.
