Magicians finish weekend with another win over Chill

MN Magicians 5 @ Coulee Region 2 – A four-game week came to an end on a good note for the Minnesota Magicians, who picked up their second win of the weekend against the Coulee Region Chill with a 5-2 road win on Sunday. Magicians forward Mitch Slattery had three assists and goalie Will Ulrich was spectacular in the win, making 45 saves.
The Magicians led 2-0 after one period with 1st period goals from Alex Lambacher and Pierce Crawford. Slattery picked up assists on both goals.
The 2nd period saw each team score twice as the Chill staying in the game with goals from Justin Kendall and Michael Wilson, while the Magicians responded with goals from Owen Larson and Casey Jerry.
In the 3rd period, Braxton Collins added an empty-net goal right before the final buzzer. Besides Slattery’s three-point night, Crawford and Lambacher also had multi-point nights.
Chill goalie Hunter Vorce took the loss, making 19 saves.
