Head Coach Moe Mantha and NAHL Michigan Warriors players AJ Marcinek, Mitch Wedding, Ryan Wischow, Brandon Wolfe, and Andrew Green took the time to visit the Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center on Wednesday.
The players had the opportunity to meet, take pictures, and even play hockey with the students of the Instructional Center as part of their Snowfest Carnival.
Marion D. Crouse will be participating in various winter activities this week in honor of their annual Snowfest Carnival.
“Our guys and myself have always enjoyed ourselves when we help out with the Snowfest Carnival. It is a very humbling experience,” said Mantha.
Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center is a year-round, center based school for students identi-fied with severe cognitive and severe multiple impairments. They serve approximately 200 students from 21 local school districts in Genesee County, from the ages of 3 years old up to 26 years old.
Students are given the opportunity for lifelong learning by being provided instruction within the school, home and community using a team approach.
