Coordinator, Officiating

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the NAHL Director and Manager of Officiating in all aspects
  • Educate, supervise, and develop current officials
  • Recruit, educate, supervise, and develop new officials
  • Serve as the Scheduler of Officials for the NAPHL Officiating Program
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the NAHL Officiating Exposure Camps, or other NAHL
  • Combine related officiating programs, with the support of the NAHL Manager of Officiating
  • Assist the NAHL Manager of Officiating with the NAPHL and Next Shift initiative
  • Flexibility to travel inclusive weekend and evening work (events, camps, clinics, etc.)
  • Ability to partner and create relationships with other credible officiating programs
  • Event planning, development, and execution
  • Day-to-day tasks consistent with the industry
  • 40 hours per week, remote
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Knowledge and proficiency in computer skills commonly associated with this industry
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel
  • at all levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritizes
  • multiple tasks with good judgment, high sense of urgency
  • Ability to meet new challenges with an open mind and an optimistic response
  • Must have a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights and events as needed
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

  • Full-time position and salaried employee
