Manager, Communication and Design
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design - banners, social media graphics and print graphics
- Layout and design of event programs
- Organize and compile roster submissions from NAHL, NA3HL, and NAPHL teams for league websites and printed event programs
- Partnership presentation graphics
- Social media posts, graphics, and live event game coverage
- Merchandise and apparel design
- Manage league websites
- Write stories and content for league websites and newsletters
- Manage league communications including the writing of press releases
- Write editorial content for league marketing materials
- On air talent for various shows and interviews
- Day-to-day tasks consistent with the industry
- 40-50 hours per week at NAHL offices located in Dallas, Texas
- Flexibility to travel 10-12 times a year, inclusive of some weekend and evening work
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Print and web-based graphic design
- Dependable, reliable, and detailed oriented
- Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment, high sense of urgency
- Ability to meet new challenges with an open mind and an optimistic response
- Must have a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights and events as needed
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
