NAHL Video Intern (2024-2025 Season)
Summary
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is seeking video editing/content interns for the 2024-2025 season. You will collaborate with our media team to create and release short-form content across social media. You’ll be responsible for collecting and cataloging player highlights for weekly content as well as editing videos for various social platforms. Responsibilities
- Video clipping from NATV game Broadcasts
- Collecting and cataloging player highlight footage for weekly projects
- Editing and trimming video clips optimized for multiple social media platforms
- Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, FaceBook
- Writing interesting and effective captions for social media posts
- Collaborating with the NAHL media team on various weekly projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with editing short-form content in the sports industry
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Davinci Resolve
- Time management skills and the ability to track multiple games/projects at once
- Possess high attention to detail in editing and posting content
- Experience in editing videos for different social media layouts
- Knowledge and understanding of the sport of hockey
- Willingness to work weekend nights and occasional weeknights
- Strong communication skills in collaboration with the NAHL media team
