July 27, 2022

Frankie Ireland played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.

The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that former Top Prospects forward Frankie Ireland has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Stonehill College.

Ireland was selected #24 overall in Round 1 by the Brahmas in the 2021 NAHL Draft.

Ireland, 21, spent one season playing in the NAHL for the Brahmas this past year. During the 2021-22 campaign, the 5’11/185 lbs. native of Easton, MA, appeared in 41 regular season games and recorded 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists).

Ireland was also selected to and played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team.

“Proud to announce my commitment to play division 1 hockey at stonehill college. Thank you to my coaches, friends, and family who have helped me along the way. #goskyhawks,” stated Ireland.

Stonehill will compete as an independent NCAA Division I program in 2022-23, their first at the Division I level.
