Aberdeen defenseman Abrams makes NCAA commitment
The Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL are proud to announce that defenseman Christian Abrams has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Elmira College.
Abrams, 21, has spent the past two seasons with the Wings. The 6’0/198 lbs. native of Dallas, TX, has played in 101 career regular season games and had a total of 23 points.
Elmira College ended the 2020-2021 season with a 10-4-1 record and ended up winning the United College Hockey Conference Tournament Title. Elmira College is a private, coeducational, Phi Beta Kappa college located in Elmira, New York. They play NCAA DIII Hockey out of the UCHC.
Abrams made his NAHL debut with the Amarillo Bulls during the 2018-19 season. He was traded to Aberdeen at the start of the 2019-20 season. His best career season came this past season in 2020-21 as Abrams recorded 15 points in 53 games played and added four points in 11 Robertson Cup Playoff games.
