Aberdeen forward Mammas makes NCAA commitment

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Christopher Mammas has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for SUNY-Canton.
Mammas is a 5'10/185 lbs. forward from Montreal, Quebec, who split his time during the 2017-18 season with the Cornwall Colts and Wings. Overall, Mammas put up 4 goals and 15 assists in 62 games. While with the Wings, Mammas put up five points in 30 games played.
SUNY-Canton is an NCAA Division III school in Canton, NY. The Kangaroos compete in the Colonial Hockey Conference. Last season the Roo's had an overall record of 7-16-2.
"I'd like to thank Aberdeen, the Odde Family and my coaches for helping me develop throughout the season. With their great coaching and constant encouragement they pushed me to become a more mature and university level hockey player. I'm very eager to become a part of the Canton Kangaroos next season and continue developing as a player and person," said Mammas.
