Michigan 8 @ Soo 9 (SO) – Mitch Vanderburg had a five-point night as the Eagles completed a weekend sweep of the Warriors thanks to a 9-8 shootout win in what was the highest scoring game in the NAHL this season. Both Vanderburg and Keegan Miller scored twice and John O’Connor, Darren Brady, Chase Gamelin and Matt Menta also scored for the Eagles. Trevor Cope also had four assists. Cody Custer had two goals for the Warriors and Dalton Skelly, Derek Frentz, Alex Berardinelli, Cam Jorgensen, AJ Marcinek and Colin Horton also scored for the Warriors. Boxscore

Minot 5 @ Bismarck 4 – The Minotauros jumped out to a 4-0 lead, only see Bismarck respond to tie the game at 4-4, but in the end, a goal from John Snodgrass with five minutes remaining in regulation was the difference as Minot once again grabbed sole possession of 1st place in the Central with a 5-4 road win in Bismarck. Chase Springman, Jon Lizotte, Troy Degler and Christian Mohs also had goals for the Minotauros. Bismarck’s comeback was led by goals from Cullen Willox, Harrison Aide, Jared Pike and Tanner Salsberry. Boxscore

Kenai River 0 @ MN Wilderness 3 – Ryan Anderson had to make just 16 saves to post his third shutout of the season as the Wilderness completed a weekend sweep of the visiting Brown Bears with a 3-0 win on Saturday night. After a scoreless 1st period, goals from Alex Toscano and Darian Romanko put Minnesota ahead 2-0. Niklas Lehtimaki added a 3rd period goal. Alec Derks took the loss for Kenai River making 27 saves. Keystone 3 @ Janesville 4 – Cullen Munson had a hat-trick, including two goals in the final five minutes of the game to help the Jets complete a weekend home sweep of the Ice Miners by a 4-3 score on Saturday. Munson started the scoring with Munson’s first of the game early in the 1st period. Keystone then scored twice to take a 2-1 lead on goals from Noah Batis and Brendan Jaquay. Zach Solow scored in the 2nd period to tie the game and Reed Scahill briefly gave the Ice Miners a 3-2 lead in the 3rd period before Munson’s heroics. Boxscore

Wenatchee 3 @ Topeka 4 – The RoadRunners scored three times in the 3rd period to defeat the Wenatchee Wild 4-3 in the second game of a three-game set this weekend. Wenatchee jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Brendan Harris and David Powlowski. Topeka answered with two goals from Sam Rennaker and Daniel Brickley to tie the game. Jake Ahlgren scored with under four minutes to go in the 3rd period to put the Wild ahead 3-2. However, two goals from Shawn Brennan in the final two minutes, including the game-winner with :08 seconds left, gave Topeka the win. Boxscore

Odessa 3 @ Lone Star 6 – The Brahmas scored the final four goals of the game to erase a Jackalopes lead and complete a weekend home sweep thanks to a 6-3 win on Saturday. Ludvig Larsson had a five-point night including a hat-trick to pace the Brahmas to the win. Lone Star jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Larsson and Sebastian Vidmar. Odessa answered back with three straight goals including two from Alex Alger and another from Corey Hoffman. Then came four straight goals, including two more from Larsson and others from Oskar Andren and Peter Kessel. Boxscore

Austin 3 @ Coulee Region 4 (OT) – Dominik Florian scored midway through overtime and Adam Carlson made 42 saves as the Chill edged the Bruins on Saturday, 4-3 in overtime. The Chill jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Sean Lang and Adam Lovick. Austin responded with three straight goals, including two from Trevor Body and another from Jade Miller to take a 3-2 lead. Blake Kelley scored in the 3rd period for the Chill to tie the game and send it to overtime. Boxscore

Johnstown 6 @ Springfield 3 – Casey Linkenheld had a four-point night and Trevor Recktenwald scored twice as the Tomahawks took the second of their three-game series with the Jr. Blues thanks to a 6-3 win on Saturday. The Tomahawks jumped out a 6-1 lead after two periods as Recktenwald scord twice and Linkenheld, Ryan Bochert, Joe Drabin and Luke Lynch added the others. Springfield got goals from Grant Meyer, Josh Lammon and Brian Rigali. Ryan Bednard made 41 saves in the win. Boxscore

Aberdeen 1 @ Brookings 4 – Ryan Kubic made 19 saves as the Blizzard handed the Wings their 7th straight loss thanks to a 4-1 win on Saturday. Tyler Berndt opened the scoring for the Blizzard, but that was answered by a goal from Aberdeen’s Austin Swingle. The Blizzard scored three straight to put the game away including a 2nd period goal from Beau Michaud and 3rd period goals from Eddie Eades and Kevin Shand. Boxscore

Fairbanks 4 @ MN Magicians 1 – The Ice Dogs snapped their losing skid with a 4-1 win on Saturday night in Minnesota against the Magicians. Fairbanks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st period on goals from Adam Anderson and Chandler Madry. The lead swelled to 3-0 with a 2nd period goal from Hans Gorowsky. Minnesota got its lone goal late in the 2nd period from Curtis Simonson. Ryner Gorowsky added a 3rd period goal to complete the scoring. Patrick Munson made 17 saves in the win. Boxscore

Wichita Falls 3 @ Rio Grande Valley 0 – Due to hazardous ice conditions, the game was suspended with 6:04 remaining in the 2nd period and will be completed on a future date.
