B2 back to broadcast Showcase

The North American Hockey League has announced that all games at this month’s NAHL Showcase Tournament will be video broadcast live over the Internet through B2 Networks.

The sixth annual NAHL Showcase Tournament, which features all 18 NAHL teams, in addition to both the USA Hockey National Team Development Program’s Under 18 and Under 17 teams, will be held from September 17-20 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minn.

B2 will also broadcast all three championship games - Midget Major, Midget Minor and Bantam - of the NAHL Future Prospects Tournament, all of which will be played on Sunday, September 21.

Each game of the Showcase Tournament and each Future Prospects championship game can be viewed for $7 (US). The tournament will be available for viewing by a worldwide audience through the NAHL’s Web sites - NAHL.com, NAHLShowcase.com and NAHLFutureProspects.com – each NAHL team’s Web site and b2tv.com

Fans wanting to watch the event via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player.

This marks the second straight year that B2 Networks will broadcast the NAHL Showcase Tournament.
