Graduates cop Atlantic Hockey accolades

A number of former NAHL players were recognized by the Atlantic Hockey Association on its All-Conference First, Second, Third and All-Rookie Teams.

Army junior goaltender Josh Kassel (Bozeman Icedogs, 2004-05) was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Year and was named to the All-Conference First Team.

Army junior defenseman Zach McKelvie (Bozeman Icedogs, 2004-05) was named the league's Best Defenseman along with being recognized on the All-Conference First Team.

Other NAHL alums recognized were: Army senior forward Luke Flicek (Texas, 2003-04), who was named to the All-Conference First Team; Army sophomore forward Owen Meyer (Mahoning Valley, 2005-06) and University of Connecticut sophomore goaltender Beau Erickson (North Iowa, 2005-06), both All-Conference Second Team selections; and Air Force senior forward Eric Ehn (Capital Centre Pride, 2002-03), who was named to the All-Conference Third Team.
