South ends Top Prospects with victory
ANN ARBOR, MICH. – The South Division defeated the Central Division, 3-1, on the third and final day of the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament at the Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Fairbanks Ice Dogs defenseman Arthur Bidwill was named the Player of the Game after scoring the game-winning goal and an assist for the South Division. He was also a plus-3.
Wichita Falls Wildcats forward Grant Everett also recorded a goal and an assist, with Wichita Falls forward Luke Salazar connecting for the other South tally.
In goal, Fairbanks’ Cody Reichard (14 saves) and Wichita Falls’ Mike Jarboe (16) combined to make 30 saves.
Southern Minnesota Express forward Ben Beaudoin scored the lone Central Division marker.
The South and Central Divisions finished the tournament with 1-2 records.
