January 18, 2008

The North American Hockey League announced today the field and schedule for the third and final tournament of this season's NAHL Midget Showcase Series, which will be held February 15-18 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The qualifying teams - 12 in the Midget Major division (U18) - are listed alphabetically below. The schedule can be found here, or by visiting nahlmidgetshowcase.com.

The final Midget event will be held in conjunction with the first annual NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, which will be held February 17-19 at the Ice Cube.

The Chicago Young Americans (U18) and Little Caesars (U16) were crowned champions of the season's first Midget Showcase Series tournament, which was held in September in conjunction with the NAHL Showcase Tournament in Blaine, Minn.

In the second showcase event held last month in Chesterfield, Mo., the Chicago Mission won the U18 division, while the Mercer Chiefs were crowned champions of the U16 division.
