Avalanche, Outlaws strike deal

The North Iowa Outlaws have traded forwards Brooks DeZellar, 20, and Kyle Politz, 18, to the Alaska Avalanche for forward Larry Kincaid, 20, and defenseman Kevin Anger, 19.

In his second year with the Avalanche, Kincaid, from Wasilla, Alaska, has eight goals for 16 points in 33 games, along with 68 penalty minutes.

Anger, an Eau Claire, Wis., native who started the year with Southern Minnesota, has four points on the season in 22 games.

DeZellar, an Eden Prairie, Minn., native in his third NAHL season, totaled three goals for 19 points in 30 games with North Iowa this season.

Politz, from Elko, Minn., had three goals for seven points in 24 games with the Outlaws.
